Wagtail Cottage

Wagtail Cottage is a newly built four-bedroom house in Lyme Regis, arranged over three floors and finished to a contemporary standard. The ground floor is one open-plan room holding the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with a large wall-mounted Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine, and there is a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a WC and washbasin.

Three bedrooms are on the first floor: a super-king and two twins, served by a family bathroom with a bath and a separate walk-in shower. The top floor is given over to a super-king suite with an en-suite wet room and views across the rooftops towards the sea. Together they sleep eight. Heating is solar electric, and bed linen, towels, fuel, power and a first supply of coffee pods are included in the rent.

Doors from the living area lead to the enclosed rear decked garden, which has outdoor furniture and a tap for rinsing wetsuits or dogs. Two cars can park off-road, and the charging point suits an electric car, though use is charged. One well-behaved dog is welcome, but not upstairs. A Good Housekeeping bond is payable. The pub is 0.1 miles away, the shop 0.2 and the beach 0.4. It suits a family or two couples travelling together who want an en-suite top-floor bedroom, with the option of bringing a dog.
