Wild Hill

Wild Hill is a limestone bungalow in Worth Matravers, near Langton Matravers. The pub is 0.1 miles away, the beach 2 miles and the nearest shop 4 miles. Walkers can reach Chapman's Pool and the old quarry at Winspit, each 1.5 miles away.

The approach is a sloping grassy path up from the parking space, which may not suit anyone with mobility concerns. Inside, the open-plan living and dining area has an open fireplace, a TV and a round dining table in the corner that seats six. The kitchen has an electric cooker, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave and a washing machine. Heating is by Calor gas, with an immersion heater.

There are three bedrooms: two doubles, one with an en-suite shower room, and a twin. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. The garden is lawned, with trees, shrubs, a table and chairs. A stone wall runs along it, but it is not fully enclosed.

Parking is private, for two cars, on the grass where matting has been laid; a village car park half a mile away takes any further vehicles. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 4.30pm and check-out is before 10am. The bungalow suits a family or friends of up to six, perhaps with a dog, who are comfortable with a sloping approach and like having a pub 0.1 miles away.
