Woodbury Meadow Stables

Woodbury Meadow Stables is set at the end of a tarmac drive in Sydling St Nicholas, near Dorchester, with Frampton nearby. Three bedrooms, each with a super-king zip-and-link bed that can be made into twins when you book, make it a house for six. One bedroom is off the lounge and two are upstairs, and every one has a Smart TV and an en-suite. It suits three couples, or a family and friends, who want their own bathroom each. Dogs are not allowed.

The lounge, kitchen and diner has exposed beams, oak flooring and two sets of French doors, with sofas, a Smart TV and a bio-ethanol fire. Underfloor heating runs through the house. The kitchen has a Rangemaster electric oven and hob, a microwave, two fridges, a freezer, a dishwasher and a Tassimo coffee machine, though the pods are not included. A utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

The en-suites are a bathroom with a shower and a separate bath, a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a shower room with a walk-in shower. Outside is a courtyard garden with seating and a BBQ, so bring your own charcoal, and an open-sided porch with a bench and coat hooks. Gravel off-road parking is ample.

Electric vehicles cannot be charged at the property under any circumstances, and the nearest charging point is in Poundbury, about 6 miles away. The shop is under a mile away, the pub 2.5 miles and the beach 8.5 miles. Fly fishing on the River Frome can be booked and paid for directly with the owner. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 9.30am.
