Anchor House - Lulworth Cove

Anchor House is a newly built detached house above Lulworth Cove, close to West Lulworth. The pub and shop are 350 metres away and the beach 500 metres, while the South West Coast Path starts 150 metres off. The layout is upside down: the bedrooms are on the ground level and the living space is on the first floor.

Four bedrooms are on the ground level. Two have en-suite shower rooms, one super-king-size and one king-size. The other super-king-size shares a family bathroom with a twin room that has two double beds and takes two guests at most. The same level has a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, plus a home gym. The main bedroom is on the first floor: a super-king-size with a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bath and a shower.

The first floor holds the open-plan kitchen, with a central island and two dishwashers, and separate dining and lounge areas facing sea-view windows. Glass doors open to a glass-fronted balcony over the cove. A snug has a wood burner, a Smart TV and a PlayStation, and the living room has an open fire. A further staircase climbs to a roof terrace, where children must not be left unattended. The wraparound lawned garden is not enclosed and has seating and a gas BBQ. Private parking takes five cars, and EV charging is available, with additional charges payable directly to the owner. A Ring doorbell is in use. Dogs are not allowed. The house takes a maximum of 10 guests and suits two families or a group of friends who want sea views from the balcony and the roof terrace.
