Moonfleet - West Lulworth

Moonfleet is a detached house in West Lulworth with five bedrooms and room for ten. A flight of external steps leads up to the main entrance, which opens into a boot room and a hall with a separate WC. The beach, the pub and the shop are all within a mile.

The open-plan lounge and dining area has a wood burner, a Smart TV and patio doors to the garden, and a first basket of logs is included from October to April. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Three bedrooms lead off the lounge and diner: two super-king-size rooms, which can be made up as twins on request, and a twin. Upstairs are another super-king-size bedroom, again convertible to twins, and a king-size room set into the eaves with an en-suite shower room. The main bathroom has a bath, a separate shower and a WC. Some areas have restricted headroom.

Outside, a patio with garden furniture leads to fairly steep steps up the hillside and a lawn above. The levels and an unfenced pond mean children need watching. From the top path at the back, reached along a path from the road two doors away, you can step onto the coast path that runs down to Lulworth Cove. The driveway takes two cars, with more roadside parking at the front subject to availability. Two dogs are allowed, but not in the bedrooms, and additional charges may apply. A travel cot and highchair are available. The house suits two families or a group of friends who want ten beds under one roof.
