Churchfield House

Churchfield House is a Grade II listed house in West Lulworth, made up of a main house with a cottage attached at the rear. The pub is 200 metres away, the shops 100 metres and half a mile, and Lulworth Cove half a mile. The main house keeps its exposed beams, curved oak panelling and Purbeck flagstone floors.

The main house has a lounge with a Smart TV/DVD and an electric stove, a snug with an inglenook fireplace and a TV, and a dining room. A couple of steps lead down from the hall to the lounge, and two more lead down to the kitchen, which has a range oven, an induction hob, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge, a freezer and a microwave. Upstairs are a double with a 5ft bed, a twin and a single, all with reduced height in the eaves, plus a shower room and a bathroom with a bath, a hand-held shower and a WC.

The cottage is entered through the dining room. It has a breakfast room with a fridge, freezer and dryer, a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and upstairs a twin and a double with a door to the garden, both under low eaves. Four steps lead to the garden door. Outside are a courtyard terrace with furniture and a large BBQ, and terraced lawns up a few steps. Off-road parking is for two cars. Wi-Fi, central heating and electricity are included. Two dogs are permitted, and there may be additional charges. The house suits two families or a group of friends who want a main house and a separate cottage under one roof.
