Ash
Single-storey lodge for seven with a private hot tub
Ash is a wood-built lodge on the Herston Yards Farm holiday park in Swanage, with enclosed wraparound decking that holds furniture and a private hot tub. Everything is on a single level, and seven people can stay across three bedrooms with Freeview TVs: a king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, a twin, and a family room with one single bed and a bunk. The main bathroom has a whirlpool bath as well as a walk-in shower.
The kitchen, dining area and sitting area share one open-plan space, with a woodburning stove in the sitting area. Cooking is covered by an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher. Four TVs, a surround sound system, DVD and CD players and WiFi are installed, gas central heating runs through the lodge, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are in the rent.
Parking is available. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. The shop and pub are 0.1 miles away, the beach is 1.3 miles off, and The Old Mess Room is on the park too. During the school summer holidays Ash is let for seven nights with Saturday arrivals only; outside that period, short breaks start on a Friday or a Monday. It suits a family or group of friends, with a dog if they like, who want a hot tub and every room on one level.
