Oaks

Oaks is a wood-clad lodge in the semi-rural setting of the Herston Yards Farm holiday park, on the outskirts of Swanage. Seven guests share one level, split across three bedrooms that each have a Freeview TV: a double with an en-suite walk-in shower, a twin, and a family room with a single bed and a bunk.

The bathroom has a whirlpool bath and a walk-in shower. The sitting area of the open-plan living space has a woodburning stove, and the kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher. Four TVs in all, a surround sound system, DVD and CD players and WiFi are fitted, with gas central heating and fuel, power, bed linen and towels all in the rent.

Enclosed decking with furniture holds a private hot tub, and parking is available. Pets and smoking are not allowed. The booking pattern changes with the season: summer lets are for seven nights from a Saturday, and short breaks otherwise start on a Friday or Monday.

The Shop and The Old Mess Room are on the park and reached on foot, the pub is 0.1 miles away and the beach 1.3 miles. Oaks is best for a large family or group of friends who want a hot tub and every bedroom on the same level.
