Steam Whistle Cottage

Steam Whistle Cottage is a two-storey house in a quiet part of Swanage, sleeping seven. The shop is less than 500 metres away, and the pub and the beach are 0.5 miles. Durlston Country Park is 1.5 miles away and Corfe Castle 5.5 miles.

The ground floor has two reception rooms: one with comfortable chairs and a TV, the other with a sofa bed, a coal-effect electric fire with a marble surround and a second TV. The kitchen has an induction hob, a double oven with a grill, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, with a utility space for the washing machine, and the dining table sits in the conservatory next to it. Upstairs are a king-size bedroom, a double with an en-suite shower room, a children's bunk room, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Double doors lead from the conservatory into the enclosed rear courtyard garden, which has a pergola, seating and a BBQ. A highchair, a stairgate and a travel cot are provided, and you bring your own cot linen. The private parking holds two cars. One dog is allowed at Steam Whistle Cottage, and additional charges may apply.

The cottage suits a family with young children, or friends travelling with one dog.
