Braeside

Braeside stands on heathland in Studland and is laid out over three floors to make the most of its sea views. It sleeps eight in four bedrooms, two doubles and two twins. You reach the front door up stone steps. The pub and the shop are both under a mile away, and South Beach is about a mile from the house.

The double-aspect kitchen/dining room looks to the sea through a large bay window, and the sitting room has a similar view. A sunroom beside it has French doors onto a glass balcony with seating. The kitchen has an induction hob, a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher, and there is a washing machine, with a utility room that leads out to the rear garden. The wood burner has logs provided free from October to April.

A double bedroom and a bathroom are on the ground floor. The lower ground floor has a twin bedroom with sea views and a shower room. On the first floor are a double and a twin, which share a shower room with reduced ceiling height. The ground-floor bathroom has a bath, a shower and a WC.

The gardens wrap around the house. The front is mostly lawn sloping gently away, with raised beds, trees, a seating area and a wild flower meadow, and the rear has a terrace and flower beds. Parking at the back takes three cars. Wi-Fi and central heating are included, and check-in is from 4pm. Dogs are not allowed. The house suits a family or two couples who want sea views and a wood burner without a pet.
