Dawn Cottage

Dawn Cottage is in Studland, looking over Studland Heath, and sleeps seven in four bedrooms: a king-size, a double, a twin and a single. South Beach is a short walk, at 0.75 miles, and the pub and the shop are the same distance. Two steps lead up to the porch, where there is room to leave coats and boots.

The sitting room has an open fire and original wooden floorboards. Logs and coal are included from October to April, but kindling and firelighters are not. There is also a dining room with double-aspect windows. The kitchen has an oven and hob, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and it opens to the conservatory. A travel cot and highchair are available.

All four bedrooms are on the first floor, up a steep flight of stairs, so it is not suited to anyone who finds stairs difficult. Upstairs there is a shower room with a power shower and a separate WC, and there is a further WC on the ground floor. The king-size bedroom has a Smart TV.

At the front, a patio with table and chairs leads to a gravel parking area with room for three cars. A gated side path goes round to a rear patio with a hammock and garden furniture, and a lawn on two levels, with a BBQ for outdoor dining. Up to three dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The cottage suits a family or a group of friends with dogs who are happy with stairs and a single shower room.
