Greystones

Greystones is a detached house in Studland that sleeps eight across four bedrooms: a king-size, two doubles and a twin. It is reached along an unmade road, and a private driveway leads up to the main entrance. The gated area at the front has off-road parking for four vehicles. CCTV covers the driveway, for security only.

Downstairs, the kitchen and breakfast room has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge and freezer, with a distant sea view across the heathland. The lounge has a wood burner and a TV with DVD player, and logs are included from October to the end of April. A door from the lounge opens to a conservatory overlooking the garden, and the dining room has doors out to the patio. A shower room and a utility area with a WC and washing machine sit off the hallway.

Upstairs, the king-size bedroom looks over the heath towards the sea and has its own en-suite shower room. The twin room is on the same landing. Across the landing, two doubles share a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Wi-Fi is included, and a beach, a shop and a pub are all within walking distance.

Behind the house, a furnished patio has a charcoal BBQ, then lawn and flower beds up to a dividing fence. Beyond the fence is a larger garden with fruit trees and bushes and a large unenclosed pond, so children and pets need watching. One dog is allowed, and additional charges may apply. The house suits a family or two couples who want a car-friendly base with a wood burner and plenty of garden.
