Heatherview - Studland

Heatherview faces the National Trust's Studland and Godlingston Heath in Studland, and its upstairs bedrooms look over the open heath with glimpses of the sea. It sleeps six in three bedrooms, one double and two twins. The beach is 0.75 miles away, with the shop and pub at the same distance, and Swanage is 3 miles off.

Downstairs, the hall takes coats and boots and leads to a lounge with an open fire. Logs are included from October to the end of April. A picture window gives heath and sea glimpses. The kitchen/diner has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a Bluetooth sound system, and there is a conservatory or garden room at the back. A WC is on the ground floor. The only bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.

There are gated lawn gardens at the front and back, laid out with Purbeck stone paths. The back garden has a terrace with outdoor furniture and a pergola, and children's play equipment including a slide, for children aged 10 and under only, used at their own risk. There is a large gravelled drive. Central heating and electricity are included, and so is Wi-Fi.

Check-in is from 5pm. Dogs are not allowed. The cottage suits a family with children under ten, or a group of adults who want an open fire and a walk straight onto the heath.
