Heathland Cottage

Heathland Cottage is in Studland, 3 miles from Swanage, and the shop is only 50 metres away. The pub is 600 metres and the beach is 0.5 miles. It sleeps six: a double, a twin and a children's bunk bedroom with beds measuring 2ft 3 by 5ft 6. The cottage is reached from the rear along an unmade track.

Downstairs, the lounge has a TV, a Blu-ray DVD player, a feature fireplace and plenty of seating. The dining room has French doors to the garden and leads on to the kitchen, which has an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and a door to the back garden. There is a WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, the bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.

The gated front garden is laid to lawn and faces the road. The back garden has a patio with outdoor furniture, a sloping lawn, trees and shrubs. Nine steps lead to the parking area, which has space for one car. There is no telephone. Wi-Fi is included but suits email and web browsing only, and central heating and electricity are included. Check-in is from 3.30pm.

Dogs are not allowed. The cottage suits a family of up to six, particularly with younger children for the small bunk beds, who do not mind the nine steps to the parking area.
