Polly's Folly

Eight guests fit into Polly's Folly, a four-bedroom house in the centre of Swanage. The bedrooms are a king-size, a double, a twin and a bunk room, shared between a bathroom with a three-quarter bath and shower over, and a separate shower room with a walk-in shower.

The living space is open plan, with the kitchen, dining area and a sitting area built around a woodburning stove. Guests may use the logs in the wood store outside the patio doors. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and the house has a Smart TV, WiFi and a selection of games. There is central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

The rear garden faces south and is laid out on several levels, with a patio, a terrace and furniture. For families with young children, a stairgate is fitted at the top of the stairs, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request. Guests bring their own bedding for the cot.

Parking is on the road, first come, first served. A shop and pub are 0.1 miles away and the beach is 0.8 miles. Arrivals are from 4pm and departures by 10am. There is no smoking and no pets, and the booking carries a good-housekeeping bond. The house is best for a large family or two couples with children who want four separate bedrooms within reach of the seafront.
