The Cove Retreat

The Cove Retreat is an end-of-terrace cottage in West Lulworth. A shared pathway and steps lead up from the roadside. The beach, the pub and the shop are each under a quarter of a mile away.

Downstairs is a lounge/diner with a TV and DVD player, and two steps up from it is the kitchen, which has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine. The kitchen ceiling is low. The bathroom, with a bath and WC, opens off the kitchen. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a twin at the front, a double with a balcony, and a bunk room at the back overlooking the garden, plus a shower room with a WC. Both the twin and the double look out over the countryside.

The garden is fully enclosed and split-level, with lawn and a picnic bench. The cottage has one off-road parking space inside an open garage, with more roadside parking subject to availability. Two dogs are allowed, with additional charges, and they should be kept downstairs. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The cottage suits a family of up to six who want the beach close by and bring one or two dogs, as long as nobody minds the low kitchen ceiling.
