The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is a detached house on the outskirts of Swanage that takes ten guests. Six sleep in the three bedrooms upstairs, which are two king-size rooms with four-poster beds and TVs and a twin with a Smart TV, and the other four use the pull-out beds in the lounge and snug. Downstairs there is a bathroom with a bath and shower over it and a separate walk-in shower room, while the first-floor cloakroom has only a basin and WC.

Living space is generous. The kitchen/diner has a breakfast bar and a large dining table, with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, and the utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting room has a woodburning stove, the snug an open fire, and the conservatory a sofa, armchairs and a Smart TV. There are five TVs, WiFi and electric central heating.

The garden has furniture and a ten-seater hot tub, and there is ample off-road parking. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate can be requested. Two well-behaved pets are welcome and smoking is not allowed. A shop is on site, and the beach is 1.6 miles away.

In the school summer holidays the house lets for seven nights with Saturday arrivals only, and Friday or Monday arrivals apply to short breaks at other times. It suits two or three families, or a large group of friends, who want everyone under one roof.
