The Old Inn

The Old Inn is a detached former inn in the village of Winterborne Whitechurch, with Bere Regis close by. It sleeps eight across four bedrooms. A private drive holds five cars and has a TAP electric vehicle charger, for which charges apply. The house stands on the A354, and a gate from the garden opens onto a farm track and public footpaths.

The kitchen/diner has an island, an inglenook around the range cooker and a farmhouse table, with wide views over the garden and fields. The ground floor also has a utility room, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a snug with its own stove and a desk area. Patio doors from the sitting room open onto the garden. There is also a cloakroom. Heating is gas central heating.

Upstairs, one king-size room has a dressing area, a Juliette balcony, and an en-suite with a bath and a walk-in shower. The second king has an en-suite shower room with a stone sink. The third bedroom is a twin with zip-and-link beds that can become a super-king on request, and the fourth is a further twin. A family bathroom has a bath and a separate shower.

The wrap-around garden has lawns, fruit trees, a patio, furniture and a hot tub. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, and a dishwasher, washing machine, range cooker and microwave are in the kitchen. The shop is 0.8 miles away and the pub 2.7 miles. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Smoking is not allowed. A good housekeeping bond is payable. It suits two families or a group of friends, with up to two pets, who want a hot tub and a gate to the footpaths.
